Kiki McShane’s journey to joining the Fundraising Committee of World Computer Exchange (WCE) was inspired by her friendships with Tim and Pam, connections she maintained since their days at Boston College. Over time, what began as a social connection grew into a commitment to support the mission of WCE, an organization she saw as aligned with her background and values. Kiki’s expertise lies in lifting up women leaders and building purpose driven companies for financial success.
In the 1990s, as a partner in a consulting firm based in Miami, FL she noticed the lack of female leaders and became passionate about supporting women entrepreneurs to grow and sustain their businesses. In 2012 she co-founded Evolve, based in Rutland, Vermont, to educate and honor women trailblazers in her community.
Since joining WCE two years ago, she has dedicated time to understanding the organization’s mission and exploring how her skills could contribute to its growth. Now, she’s especially focused on how to empower girls to take calculated risks to benefit their careers. She is using her connections to engage schools in Miami, hoping to inspire young girls to take risks and build resilience. She believes that clearly articulating WCE’s purpose and unique impact is crucial to attracting and retaining support. Her vision for WCE is rooted in long-term, sustainable growth, where technology access and educational opportunities empower individuals, especially young girls, to take on leadership roles and thrive in a world that values adaptability and courage.
